City Tourist: Millennium Park

Have you seen the bean?! Yea, yea.. it's a touristy spot, but I'll admit that I love it! This Chicago art piece is fun and a great place to visit. Honestly, I  don't think it ever really gets old. G & I spent some time visiting the hot spots like the Hancock Building. I highly recommend getting drinks at the top for a spectacular view.

There's nothing better than being a tourist in your own backyard. What are your favorite tourist sites?

*Tomorrow is the birthday of the most fabulous, fashion saavy, smartie pant, kindest sister in the world. Happy Birthday to my favorite Jane! <3

LBD + Pink Shoes

Fashion Fundamental:  Little Black Dress (LBD)

I love those nights when you get to slip on a great black dress. Nothing is more classic. LBD sometimes need a pop of color to help make the look sing. Cue:  hot pink shoes. I found these pink shoes at Macy's last season and think they are so much fun.

More LBDs here:   1, 2, 3, & 4.

How many LBDs live in your closet?

Vacation: Cancun Part I

Vacation Fashion Fundamental:  Flip Flops

A few weeks ago, I visited Cancun, Mexico for the first time! I was there for a lovely, relaxing vacation. Time was spent reading magazines, strolling through the vibrant markets, and hanging out at the beach.

Along with my Kindle, I came prepared with my trusty summer flip flops. These shoes were easy to pack and Havianas are the best because they are super comfortable.

Meet G! He's rocking a casual look with a Jack & Jones polo (similar), Old Navy shorts (similar) and his own pair of trusty flops.

Results are in... did you exercise your right to vote?
