Classic Cool

Fashion Fundamental:   white collared shirt

I love using a white shirt as a canvas for really great jewelry. Jane2 got me this awesome necklace from Etsy so, I tried to the find a simple way to show off this blingy piece.

As for white button-downs, the Uniqlo oxford is one of my faves. It looks crisp, but has a relaxed fit so I can still move without worrying about it wrinkling.

Lace, Citron & a Birthday

It was my birthday this past weekend, and I was lucky enough to be able to celebrate with my friends and family! I found this fun and flirty dress from Target. The citron color is an unexpected twist under the feminine lace.

Wear It Both Ways: Quilted Vest

Fashion Fundamental: 
Quilted fall/winter vest - I really enjoy this layering piece because it provides warmth without bulk. It's pretty versatile for 3-seasons of the year here in the Midwest -- I've even worn it with a dress!  Those of you living in warmer climes still might consider picking one up for those cooler fall and winter days as a great alternative to a jacket.
